Our travel tidbits have been collected and distilled over years of meandering through backwaters, sitting in all manner of planes, trains and automobiles or a trusty dhoni. We've smoozed check-in staff, sneaked into frequent flyer lounges and generally hung out and asked the locals for the tips that make travelling more enjoyable, more comfortable or just more fun.

Have you ever had dreams where you were flying? I have and they always looked a little like this, although maybe not as extreme.
