The travel industry is an amazingly diverse industry.
Brilliant, motivated companies and individuals craft services, provide tours and vacations and devote huge amounts of time to giving travellers memories that will last a lifetime and provide great dinner conversations (or even bragging rights) for years to come.
We also come up with some interesting Jargon
Our post today is a little experiment on crowd sourcing to see how many of you great Tweeps know some of the wierd and wonderful travel Jargon words that travellers and travel industry people (Tweeps) know or come across.
If you know a good piece of Jargon that people always ask about or you just have a particular quirky favourite submit it (Update: Along with the Definition please I forgot to add this before - ooops). Just for fun we’ll give 2 (2) lucky submitters a $50 I-tunes vouchers.
For all our regular blog readers you can also submit via the comments here.
We will publish the list here to be used under creative commons so feel free to contibute, build upon and use. If the Travel Jargon List get’s too big for the blog we’ll put it up on the Tourabout site so all can access it there.
So get submitting
Entries that make the list will be attributed to the person who submits it and all entries get one chance each at the prize so increase your chances and dish out a few pearls of travel wisdom.
