Our travel tidbits have been collected and distilled over years of meandering through backwaters, sitting in all manner of planes, trains and automobiles or a trusty dhoni. We've smoozed check-in staff, sneaked into frequent flyer lounges and generally hung out and asked the locals for the tips that make travelling more enjoyable, more comfortable or just more fun.
